Counties Manukau police has teamed up with Crimestoppers in a crack down on the stolen property trade.
District Commander Superintendent John Tims says around 60 per cent of the country's trade in stolen goods is in the upper north.
Mr Tims said the campaign is for people who may know someone who's involved in either receiving stolen property or the distribution of it.
Mr Tims says they can do something positive for the community by calling Crimestoppers anonymously.
