The soldier who collapsed during an SAS training run has woken up.
Lieutenant Teria Cowan has been in a coma since January 25th, when he collapsed during a selection course in the Hunua Ranges.
He was trying to complete an 8 kilometre run in uniform, and wearing a weighted vest.
The 25 year-old has been in a critical condition in Auckland City Hospital, but is now conscious again and talking to his family.
His condition is now listed as serious.
