Prime Minister John Key yesterday met the most senior US intelligence officer believed to have visited New Zealand.
Director of National Intelligence Lieutenant General James Clapper, who also met other senior Government officials, is the chief adviser to the US President, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council, and heads the 16-member Intelligence Community.
