A man who "terrorised" a Tauranga family in a road-rage incident has been sentenced to six months' home detention.
Rhys Hirst, 29, of Rotorua, tailgated the family's vehicle, and then overtook and slammed his brakes on during the incident last December.
When the family turned round to escape, he followed.
