Two men charged with manslaughter over the death of a man who fell from the balcony of an Auckland apartment have been remanded to reappear in July.
Barry Harwood, 64, and Michael Manga, 37, appeared in Auckland District Court today charged over the death of Stewart Paul Kingi, 57, on March 10.
They were both remanded on bail to reappear at the High Court in Auckland for a call-over on July 14.
Manga has previously pleaded not guilty, and Harwood has not yet entered a plea.
Kingi died from blunt force head trauma after he fell from a balcony at Pt England, 14km southeast of downtown Auckland.
Harwood and Manga were initially charged with assault, but these charges were later upgraded to manslaughter.
