Police are investigating a political stunt involving the burning of a New Zealand flag in the grounds of Parliament yesterday.
Two members of the Republic of NZ Party, Jack Gielen and Kerry Bevin, tried to burn the ensign and cut up photographs of Prime Minister John Key, Act leader Rodney Hide and former Prime Minister Helen Clark, whom they described as "anti-democratic".
