New Zealand singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield, who sang with her brother Daniel and sister Nikola as The DNA Algorithm, says she has found love in America.
Bedingfield spent all of 2008 on tour promoting her latest CD, Pocketful of Sunshine, and was in New Zealand for part of the southern hemisphere
summer "seeking inspiration for her next album," the Voice Of America (VOA) radio network reported.
"New Zealand is my favorite (place) because it's where my family is from. I go there every year for Christmas when it's summer there."
The singer, who has sold over 10 million records, told VOA she was engaged to California businessman Matt Robinson.
"He stole my heart! I was holding out. My first song was called Single, it was about being solo and proud of it and independent," she said.
"I really did not fall (in love) for just any person... yeah, he won my heart."
She will be working on her next album with producer Brian Kennedy who created Disturbia for US singer Rihanna.
