Save Nasa to launch stadium-size test balloon from Wanaka.
Nasa has confirmed it will be looking to get its massive balloon up in the air from Wanaka Airport tomorrow.
The data-collecting balloon was set to launch nearly two weeks ago, but weather has hindered its launch.
Cloud cover which has persisted for much of this week over the Lakes
District is predicted to clear by launch time tomorrow.
The balloon is set to be in the air for around 100 days before falling back to earth in South America.
