A Canterbury office worker accused of stealing more than $100,000 from a Christchurch company heavily involved in the city's rebuild has today been granted interim name suppression.
The 40-year-old administrator from North Canterbury has been charged with stealing $107,445.15 from the firm between November 2012 and January this year.
She appeared at Christchurch District Court today where defence counsel Kerry Cook entered not guilty pleas, saying the woman opted for a judge-alone trial.
The lawyer also asked for interim name suppression.
Judge John Strettell granted the suppression but said it would have to be argued fully at a case review hearing on October 13.
