A Canterbury office worker accused of stealing more than $100,000 from a Christchurch company heavily involved in the city's rebuild has today been granted interim name suppression.
The 40-year-old administrator from North Canterbury has been charged with stealing $107,445.15 from the firm between November 2012 and January this year.
Sheappeared at Christchurch District Court today where defence counsel Kerry Cook entered not guilty pleas, saying the woman opted for a judge-alone trial.
The lawyer also asked for interim name suppression.
Judge John Strettell granted the suppression but said it would have to be argued fully at a case review hearing on October 13.
