Name of third man wanted over alleged kidnapping released

Feilding police have released the name of a third man wanted in connection to an alleged kidnapping last week.

A man last week told police he was held hostage and threatened by three men at a house in Feilding overnight on Tuesday, March 13.

A 33-year-old man from Feilding was arrested the day after the incident and on Monday a 30-year-old man handed himself into Wanganui Police Station.

Both have been remanded in custody.

Police have named the third man wanted in relation to the alleged kidnapping as 36-year-old Rhys Billett from Feilding.

Mr Billett was described as tall, Maori, with dark brown hair and a medium to muscular build.

Police would like to hear from anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr Billett or has any information on the incident.
