We are seeking a replacement Musical Director, due to the death of our very successful previous Director. The Wanganui Male Choir is a non-auditioned Choir that enjoys performing a wide range of music styles and genres.
This is a part time role leading the artistic direction and music development of
the Choir.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct all rehearsals and performances.
•Provide musical leadership.
•Motivate, challenge and develop the choir.
•Achieve the highest quality of performance.
We are looking for a person with:
•Top grade music ability & qualifications.
•Previous experience as a Choral Director and preferably with Male Choirs.
•Excellent communication skills.
•A team approach.
•Musical passion and enthusiasm.
