EAN New Zealand has appointed Simon Dudding as general manager consultancy services. Dudding has been a senior manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and at IBM Global Services. His most recent position was general manager integrated solutions for Walker Datavision.

Barry Potter has been appointed as the first
chief executive of City Design, a company wholly owned by Auckland City Council. He was a director of Carson Group Project Managers and most recently was project director for a significant broadband wireless access project.

Anthony Traub has been appointed client services manager for Personal Personnel. He has previously held positions in the retail, education and local government sectors.

Waitakere City Council chief executive, Harry O'Rourke, has been re-appointed for a further two years. The council's performance review committee unanimously agreed to extend O'Rourke's contract.
Southern Cross has appointed Colin Macleod to general manager, sales and marketing for insurance. He will be responsible for distribution strategy and the leadership of the sales and marketing teams. He previously led the sales and marketing team for Britain's Scarborough Building Society.
