Executive search and recruitment company Swann Group has established a company specialising in the business support sector. Positiva Recruitment Specialists will be headed by Carren Walker-Raos who has 15 years experience in recruitment, sales and marketing. She is joined by Ruth Ben-Smith who worked previously for Swann Group.

Transtasman law firm Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has appointed Chris Simmons as a senior associate in its Auckland Environment team. Simmons returned to the company after three years working for Reed Smith Richards Butler in London.

Russell Stephens has been appointed as ihug's general manager of customer care. Stephens comes to the role after three years as Vodafone's general manager of planning and strategy for customer care.

David Walker and Bryan Taylor have joined the local government and infrastructure team at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Walker joins as a director following 10 years in the executive team at Auckland City Council. Taylor joins as an advisor and has nine years experience as chief executive of Auckland City Council.

Peacehaven Resthome & Hospital has appointed Frances Rodden as manager of its diversional therapy team. Rodden is a qualified diversional therapist with extensive experience in the aged care industry.

Computing infrastructure provider Revera has appointed Tony Wood as project manager.

Wood was most recently service assurance manager at Telecom subsidiary Gen-i.
