Helen van Orton has been appointed head of business development and marketing for cards and consumer finance at the Bank of New Zealand. Van Orton worked for Lloyds TSB in Britain for 12 years in the cards business. Matthew Cullum has been appointed head of remuneration, benefits and information systems at the bank. He worked for UBS Investment Bank in London for more than six years, including director of compensation and benefits.

The Restaurant Association of New Zealand has appointed Mike Egan as president. Egan replaces David Meagher who steps down from the role after three years.

Komatsu Forest has appointed John Kosar as regional manager New Zealand. Komatsu Forest manufactures heavy equipment and attachments for use by the forest industry.

Medical technology sales and marketing company Device Technologies New Zealand has appointed Delwyn Bond as product specialist for its gynaecology and urology division.

Dion Jago has been appointed as sales consultant for Quanta Systems, a software development and consulting Company. Don Amadio has joined the firm's consulting team.
