Economics expert John C. Panzar has been appointed professor of economics and director of the centre for research in network economics and communications (CRNEC) at the University of Auckland Business School. He previously held a chair at Northwestern University in Illinois, where he taught industrial and regulatory economics to undergraduates and graduates for 22 years.

Professor Kenneth Husted has been appointed professor of innovation and research management, and head of the Tamaki division, at the University of Auckland Business School. He was previously an Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School.

Andrew Fawcett joins Hesketh Henry's business and tax team as a senior solicitor. He is a commercial lawyer with expertise in telecommunications and technology law. He joins the firm from Ellis Gould.
