Paul Hodge has been appointed chief operating officer of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund. He was previously head of asset servicing and settlements at Abbey Financial Markets in London. Peter Bennie has been appointed head of operations at the Fund. He was previously senior relationship manager with BNP Paribas in Wellington. Mark Thomas has been appointed head of risk management. He joins the fund from Vodafone, where he was regional risk advisor for New Zealand and Australia. Melanie Duff has been appointed head of finance. She joins the Fund from Ernst & Young, most recently as audit manager.
BMW Group New Zealand has appointed Jo Jalfon as corporate communications manager. She ran her own public relations consultancy for two years before joining the firm.
Parker Bridge NZ has promoted Adele Sycamore to senior recruitment consultant. She joined the Auckland team in September 2004. Christine Main is now a recruitment consultant. Anna Taylor joins the business and office support team in Auckland as a permanent recruitment consultant having recently returned from Britain. Lucy Weaver has been promoted to general manager of the Wellington operation.
Zintel Group has appointed Simon Casey as chief information officer. He has 23 years experience in the telecommunications industry, including 15 years in IT management roles, in companies such as Yellow Pages, EDS, and Telecom. Grant McGough is now Zintel's general manager, Enterprise New Zealand.
