Save A mountain biker has died following a fall from his bike earlier today.
At about 9:50am this morning Queenstown emergency services were dispatched after a 58-year-old male fell off his mountain bike and hit his head.
The accident occurred on the DOC seven mile bike track near Wilson's Bay.
The
person he was biking with performed CPR until emergency services arrived and continued with CPR efforts.
The efforts were unsuccessful and the man died at the scene.
