Motorists travelling on an Auckland motorway were told to keep an eye out for a dog on the run today.
One electronic sign near the Te Irirangi Drive off-ramp in Manukau warned drivers: "Dog ahead reduce speed now."
A police spokeswoman confirmed a canine was reportedly on the Southern Motorway
at about 2pm.
Animal control was called to locate and capture the problematic pooch, she said.
