Save A female motorist has survived an 80 metre plunge into a creek when her car left the road in Upper Hutt today.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Waterworks Rd just after 3pm, a police spokesman said.
"The Fire Service line team were sent to the site and
stretchered her up."
It was too early to say what caused the crash, which involved only one vehicle.
An ambulance spokesman said she suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hutt Hospital.
