Motorcyclist seriously injured after going under truck in Auckland

St John were called to Whitford Park at 11.20am after reports of a motorcycle and a truck colliding.

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after a collision with a truck in central Auckland.

A northern Fire and Emergency spokesman said the crash occurred on Whitford Rd and saw the motorbike go underneath the truck on impact.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said they were called to Whitford Park at 11.20am.

They then transported one person to Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition.
