Motorcyclist dies in Clevedon crash

A motorcyclist has died after crashing south of Auckland.

Few details are immediately available and police said it was not known if any other vehicle was involved or when the crash happened.

Emergency services are at the crash scene on North Rd about 5km north of Clevedon.

There, they found a motorcycle and its rider down a bank.

North Rd is closed between West Rd and Duders Rd as the police serious crash unit examines the scene.
