A motorcyclist has died trying to flee from the police in a chase in Auckland this morning.
The driver refused to stop for police when it was seen travelling at speed about 1.15am in Mt Albert.
The motorcyclist failed to take the Royal Oak roundabout and fell off the bike,
hitting a parked car.
Police are investigating and the Independent Police Conduct Authority has been advised.
