Motorcyclist dies after crash with truck near Albany

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a truck near Albany.

Emergency services were called to the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway at the intersection of O'Brien Rd at 2.25pm.

The motorcyclist died in Auckland Hospital after the crash.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.

The road has reopened but was closed for a time.
