More surgery for Ruapehu climber

William Pike, the climber injured in last week's volcanic eruption on Mt Ruapehu, remains in intensive care in Waikato Hospital.
Mr Pike, 22, had further surgery yesterday, on his left leg, and faces further surgery this week.
His right leg was amputated below the knee last week.
He
is described as stable, but, under advice from doctors, his family will not be providing any further details on his condition.
