A further 1600 homes in Christchurch's Port Hills area have been rezoned white to green.
Cabinet made the decision today.
Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee said homeowners can look on the Landcheck website tomorrow and they will then be able to get on with the process of rebuilding or repairing damaged homes.
The total number of Port Hills homes zoned green now sits over 11,300.

Around 2100 remain in the white zone and 900 are in the orange zone.
Mr Brownlee says he appreciates the incredible frustration homeowners will be experiencing but everyone is working hard to get some certainty for them as quickly as possible.
