In an 11.30am update, 2degrees said it had fixed a fault that caused issues for some mobile customers.
Earlier, the mobile network company said it was aware some customers were experiencing issues with connecting, receiving, or making calls on their mobile devices.
A nationwide fault had been underrepair since about 4am this morning.
The company said it was sorry for the inconvenience and its technical team was working to resolve the issue quickly.
A spokesman told the Herald: “We have some issues with some calls failing in some regions, mainly Auckland. It’s an intermittent issue, and we are working on a fix as we speak.”
