Missing woman found safe and well in South Auckland

An elderly woman missing overnight in Auckland has been found.

A police media spokesperson said Theta Brothers was found just after 9.30am a short distance from a rest home in Pakuranga.

She was taken back to the rest home to be checked by St John Ambulance staff, but was safe and well.

The 87-year-old was last seen about 9pm. Police said she suffered from a medical condition and there were concerns for her safety.
