Missing Waikato woman found

A 64-year-old woman who failed to return to her Otorohanga home from Te Awamutu last night has been found safe and well.

Heather Cole, also known as Heather Roundtree, who suffers from dementia, left Te Awamutu about 5.30pm yesterday in her 2002 Jaguar car.

She failed to arrive home from the trip that usually took her 30 minutes causing relatives to contact police.

But she was found safe and well at home this morning, said Waikato police spokesman Andrew McAlley.
