Missing UK tourist found

A missing 79-year-old British tourist who suffers from dementia has been found safe and well this morning in Onehunga, police say.

Andrew Melbourne left a Pentland Avenue address on foot about midday yesterday, but had not been seen since.

An initial search of the area by police, including the police helicopter, failed to find Mr Melbourne. Searches of nearby schools and parks by search and rescue team members and volunteers were also unsuccessful.
