Missing Palmerston North boy found

An 11-year-old boy missing from his Palmerston North home yesterday has been found.

Police said Kiani Beamsley-Varu was found safe and well in the city last night.

The school boy left his home in Westbrook wearing a long-sleeved top and shorts at 7pm and had not made contact with anyone for hours.

At the time there were concerns for his wellbeing.

Police today thanked the public for their help in finding him.
