Missing Nelson woman found safe and well

An elderly woman who was missing in Nelson has been found safe and well.

Vera Jackson, who is in her 90s, was found by a member of the public this evening and has been taken back to her rest home.

Jackson was reported missing after she left the Wood Retirement Village on Milton St about 3pm today.

Police have thanked the public for their response and help in finding her.
