Missing man found in Nelson after police launch search and rescue mission

Police have found missing man Alexander Parry after a search in Nelson tonight.

The 20-year-old was last seen near Nelson Hospital about midday. He appeared to be heading towards Grampians Walkway wearing a grey jacket, grey trousers, and no shoes.

Police and search and rescue volunteers have been searching the bush near the walkway this evening, and said they had serious concerns for Parry's safety.

He has now been found safe in the area where he was last seen. Police have thanked the public for their help with the search.
