Missing Lower Hutt 13-year-old found 'safe and well'

A missing 13-year-old girl has been reunited with her family this afternoon after not being seen since late last night.

Taiari Hawkins of Naenae, in Lower Hutt, went missing at 10pm yesterday after possibly visiting a friend's house, police said.

Police said Hawkins has since been found "safe and well".
