Missing Hamilton man found

Police have found a man last seen in Hamilton.

Police initially had concerns for the whereabouts of Darrell Wilson, 54, who was last seen on Victoria St about 2pm yesterday.

Police and others were searching the local area and a boat was being used to search the Waikato River.

Wilson was last seen wearing dark coloured shorts, a black t-shirt with imprinted circles on it, and a long-sleeved grey jersey.

However, police confirmed at lunch time today that he had been found safe and well.

Police thanked members of the public who helped find him.
