Missing family found

A family that sparked concerns after failing to arrive in Gisborne following a journey from Te Kaha in eastern Bay of Plenty on Saturday has been found.

Whakatane police issued a public plea for sightings of Simon Peter Fisher, Jaynenne Delamere and their four children after they failed to show where expected in Gisborne.

However, it was revealed this morning the family had been staying with a different relative than originally intended.
