Missing Christchurch girl found safe and well

A Christchurch teenager who had been missing since Wednesday has been found staying at her friend's place, police say.

Georgia Stent was last seen when left home for school just before 7am on Wednesday.

Police said they found her about 10pm yesterday safe and well.

"Georgia was at a friend's house in Christchurch."

Police thanked the public for their assistance in locating her.
