Missing Auckland schoolgirl Tamia Apaapa returns home

A 13-year-old girl missing almost a month has returned home, police say.

A public appeal was made yesterday for sightings of Tamia Apaapa.

A police spokeswoman said this afternoon that the teenager had returned to her Auckland home yesterday.

"[She] is said to be safe and well."
