Missing 3-year-old girl in Hastings found

Hawke's Bay Police said a toddler named Aroha had not been seen since about 6pm around Flaxmere Ave and Diaz Drive.

A toddler who was missing since 6pm has been found safe and well.

The 3-year-old, named Aroha, was discovered playing with a friend and was found in "good spirits,'' police said.

Earlier, officers put out an appeal for members of the public to keep an eye out for the
child, who was last seen on a street in Flaxmere about 6pm.
