Missing 14-year-old girl found

A 14-year-old girl who went missing from Kidz First Hosptial in South Auckland on Tuesday has been found.

Authorities feared for the safety of Temaria Rae as she had a line attached directly to her heart to give her antibiotics for a bone condition.

While her condition was not immediately life-threatening, she needed treatment.

Police said this morning that the girl had been found and returned to the hospital with her mother.

Hospital staff reported Temaria was in good health and is safe and well.
