Measles jabs offered

Northland District Health Board has offered measles injections to 274 people in the Hokianga area who may have been at risk following an outbreak of the disease last week.

A nine-month-old baby was among 28 people, most under age 20, who contracted measles.

Medical Officer of Health Dr Loek Henneveld said no more cases were reported over Easter.
