Mayor gets big buck Bentley as 'runabout'

English MPs have gone over the top, buying a Bentley Continental Flying Spur for inner city driving.

The council for Kensington and Chelsea have been branded hypocrites after they bought a new Bentley Continental Flying Spur as their city centre runabout.

Local residents were recently told to give up their 'gas-guzzlers' or face prohibitively expensive parking costs for high-emissions vehicles around London.

The new mayoral Bentley produces just 10mpg urban and emits a whopping 423g/km CO2 - it's one of the most polluting cars you can buy.

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur sells in New Zealand for a modest $393,839.
