Hundreds of UCOL Wairarapa students are set to pass through the campus gates this year on the way to their careers and classes.
Campus manager Angela Hewitt said an Open Day at the campus yesterday had attracted a steady flow of new enrolments and course enquiries for the upcoming year, which will launch with the opening of several facilities at the Masterton site.
She said about 400 students are expected to pass through the Masterton campus this year, including students on half-semester courses.
"We will hit our enrolment targets this year, and they are healthy, and with the new facilities and programmes like our music course, it is a big year coming up. Very exciting," Ms Hewitt said.
Included in the revamp will be a purpose-built space for carpentry and joinery students, new science and clinical laboratories for nursing, health science, sports, and beauty students and a café, learning support, disability support, health nurse and student association facility under one roof on the upper campus.
