Sherry had a 77 off the stick in the morning round, against Jenny Wilkie, in the final of the Silver Championship. This set her up for the afternoon round. Jenny played steady golf, but her putter was not behaving!!
Shirley Rattray played Felicity Warren in the Bronze B Championship.This was the closest game of the day. Two very different styles of golf - however with very similar results.Congratulations to Felicity, who won on the 36th.
Two of our Octogenerians played out the Veterans Champs. Helen Didsbury was the victor, closely followed by June Hume.We hope we can all play great golf like you two when we are your age. Well done.
Silver Plate was won by Bindi McLeod,Bronze Plate by Diana Donald and Jo Brown went up the 19th, against Jean Laing to take out the Bronze B plate.
Rachel Colton and Carol Parkinson played out the 9 hole Championship. Both of these ladies hit long balls and play great golf. Rachel was the winner. Nita Edwards won the Plate. Congratulations to you all.
Metlife Care Tournament for we over 50s, was played last Friday in superb conditions.
Terry Blacktop won the Charlie Todd Cup with 44stableford points.Peter Bain 41, followed by Ash Reed, Ian Cresswell and Geoff Rolls on 40points.
Ruth Myers won the Alma Boyd Tankard with 43points, followed by Sherry Weatherstone on 41points.
Diana Donald,Peter Little and Graham Kerr all had twos.

Sunday Stableford saw Gary Patterson score 43 points, Ross Sugrue and Bill Jones 36 points.
A very successful Murray Halberg day was held on Sunday.
Shaun Draper and Darren O'Dwyer came in with 41 points, followed by Bill Jones and Trevor Clayton on 40 points.Third was Terry Blacktop and Bob Goodley.
The course was in top condition and the Murray Halberg Trust will certainly benefit from the good turnout of golfers.
