Save Police have named a man who died after his car plunged more than 150m off a bank in the Marlborough Sounds on Monday.
Timothy Shand, 63, of Port Ligar, died after his vehicle came off Te Towaka-Port Ligar Road, just before 3pm.
A serious crash investigation is underway and a
post mortem has been completed.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
