The husband and wife who work for police on the North Shore picked up Molly this afternoon and took her to live with their foster cat and two foster dogs.

The "sweet little kitten" was found in a clothing bin outside the station on Halver Rd by an officer.
"It's now being well looked after and is making itself at home," police wrote on the Counties Manukau police Facebook page.
Constable Gaylene Rice said she found Molly when she arrived at work early this morning.
The kitten was nestled in a plastic bag filled with clothing next to the bin, which was full.
She guessed Molly was only about 6 to 8 weeks old, and must have been dumped there, or have escaped from her home overnight.
Ms Rice took Molly into the station and a senior sergeant popped out to get some food and worming tablets. She was hungry and exhausted, Ms Rice said. "I've tried to keep her in a box under my desk, but she only wants to sleep curled up in my jersey on my lap."
She admitted this was not the first time she's rescued an abandoned cat.
Ms Rice admitted she might miss Molly a bit, but having a kitten tucked into her top had not made working this morning easy.
