Manukau roads reopen following bomb threat

Police shut down a section of Wiri Station Rd after a bomb threat.

A police spokesman said a thorough check of the area at a Honda car dealership showed nothing suspicious and they have now opened up the cordons.

Earlier, police cordoned off Wiri Station Rd from Ash Rd through to Druces Rd.

Plunket Ave, part of Cavendish Dr and Lambie Dr.

The spokesman said there is now an enquiry underway to try and track down who made the bomb threat.
