Save A man suffered two broken legs and suspected internal injuries after being hit by car near the Homer Tunnel in Milford today.
The man was out of his car when another vehicle slid on ice and pinned him against his own vehicle about 3pm, Inspector Murray Heast said.
Emergency services
were with the man while he waited for a rescue helicopter, he said.
