Man's body pulled from river

The body of a man has been pulled from the Manawatu River this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the river at Awapuni, in Palmerston North, just after 2pm.
CPR was administered to the 24-year-old man, but he could not be revived.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
