Man's body found in water in Paremata, Porirua

A man's body has been pulled from the water in Porirua this afternoon.

The 62-year-old's body was found near the Mana Cruising Club in Paremata, after a member of the public called police about 11am.

The Police Maritime Unit and Dive Squad attended and recovered the body.

There are no suspicious circumstances and the man's death has been referred to the coroner.
