Manawatu Gorge reopens after crash

The Manawatu Gorge has reopened after a two-car accident around 6am today.

Palmerston North police Senior Sergeant Brett Calkin said it appeared one car had crossed the centre line.

A female driver was taken to Palmerston North Hospital with moderate injuries.

Traffic was diverted to Saddle Road until about 6.45am, when the gorge road was cleared.
